Tiered pricing
With tiered prices (quantity tiers) the merchant offers staggered unit prices per position — "from N units, unit price X". The customer can pick a quantity on acceptance to reach a tier.
Structure of a tier
Each tier belongs to a quote position and carries two values:

How the merchant adds tiers
- On the detail page, expand "Tier prices" at the position.
- "Add tier" — the new tier is pre-filled one step above the highest existing quantity.
- Enter quantity and unit price. Any number of tiers per position is possible.
The effective price
For a given quantity, the unit price of the highest tier whose minimum quantity is met always applies. If there is no matching tier, the position's normal quoted price applies.
Example
Quoted price €10.00, tiers "from 50 = €9.00" and "from 100 = €8.00". At quantity 30 the €10.00 applies, at quantity 60 the €9.00, at quantity 120 the €8.00.
Quantity input in the storefront
If a sent quote position has tiers, the quote page in the customer account shows a quantity input. When the customer changes the quantity, the page recalculates the unit price, position total and grand total live. On acceptance the chosen quantity (and thus the corresponding tier price) is transferred into the cart and locked in the checkout (see Workflow).
The tiers are additionally listed as a hint under the position ("Tier prices: from N pcs: …").
Behaviour on revisions
When revising a sent quote, the tiers are fully copied into the new version — so they survive the version change. (When merely duplicating a quote, tiers are not copied.)
